What Is Covered
Our transmission warranty covers essential internal components listed below. Coverage applies under normal driving conditions when all installation requirements are met.
Automatic Components
- ✔Torque converter
- ✔Oil pump and governor
- ✔Drums, planetaries, and sun gear/shell
- ✔Sprags, shafts, and bearings
Manual Components
- ✔Shift rails and forks
- ✔Synchronizers and gear sets
- ✔Input and output shafts
- ✔Internal bearings and bushings
What Is Not Covered
⚠️ The following items are explicitly excluded from transmission warranty coverage.
- Seals and Gaskets — front/rear seals, pan gaskets, all sealing elements
- Filters — transmission fluid filters
- Sensors & Electrical Parts — speed sensors, pressure sensors, wiring harnesses, solenoids, electrical modules
- Transmission Cooler Lines and Hoses — external fluid lines and coolers
- Mounts and Brackets — engine/transmission mounts, shift link brackets
- Linkages — shift linkage, cables, clutch linkage on manual transmissions
- External Assemblies — actuators, modulator, governor (if external), kickdown linkage
- Fluid Leaks from Seals — leaks or fluid loss from seals or gaskets
- Wear & Tear Items — parts that degrade with normal use over time
- Damage from Misuse/Neglect — improper installation, racing, towing overload, neglect, or contamination
- Consequential Costs — towing, rental cars, diagnostics, downtime, or loss of use
- External switches, wiring system, and shifting linkage
Pre-Installation Requirements
To maintain your warranty validity, the following pre-installation steps are mandatory:
- Replace front seals and axle seals before installation
- Install a new transmission filter kit
- Flush and inspect all transmission cooling lines — failure to flush voids warranty
- Fill fluid levels to manufacturer's suggested levels using correct fluid type
- Properly align and install the torque converter (automatic transmissions)
- Adjust throttle position sensor cable as required
- Fresh transmission fluid must be installed for warranty to be valid
- CVT transmissions must be reprogrammed by a dealer after installation
Claims Procedure
If you experience a warranty issue with your transmission, follow these steps:
- Contact our warranty department immediately — do not disassemble the unit
- Provide proof of purchase, order number, and vehicle VIN
- Document all troubleshooting steps performed
- Our team will diagnose and determine the appropriate remedy — repair or replacement
- Replacement transmission will be of like kind and quality
- Replacement occurs only once under the terms of this warranty contract
