At Fusion Used Engines & Transmissions Inc., we want you to feel completely confident in your purchase. We know that sourcing the right part can sometimes be tricky, so we've made our return and warranty process as simple, friendly, and transparent as possible.
7-Day Return Window
You have 7 days from the date your item is delivered to request a return. This is our only return window — there is no separate inspection period.
- Condition: To be eligible for a standard return, the part just needs to be in the same condition you received it — uninstalled and unmodified.
- Installed Parts: Once a part has been installed, it cannot be returned unless it is found to have a performance defect covered by our warranty.
Defective, Wrong, or Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged from transit, isn't the right part, or has a defect, please don't worry! We will make it right at absolutely no cost to you.
- Just reach out to us within 7 days of delivery.
- You get a full refund with no restocking fee, or a replacement unit of the same specification — your choice.
- We send you a prepaid return shipping label and cover freight in both directions.
Free Return Shipping
If your return is approved, return shipping is 100% free. We will provide you with a prepaid freight shipping label so you don't have to worry about the logistics or the cost.
No Core Charges
Good news! We do not charge core deposits on any of our items. You don't have to worry about the hassle or extra expense of shipping your old engine or transmission back to us.
Cancellations & Restocking Fees
We process orders quickly to get your vehicle back on the road, but we understand plans change. Here is how cancellations work:
24-Hour Grace Period
100% Refund — No FeesCancel within 24 hours of placing your order for a full 100% refund — no fees at all.
Pre-Shipment (After 24 Hours)
20% Restocking FeeIf you cancel after the first 24 hours but before the item leaves our warehouse, a 20% restocking fee applies to cover handling and processing.
After Shipment / Refused Delivery
20% Fee + Round-Trip FreightIf you cancel or refuse the delivery while the package is already on its way to you, your refund will be issued minus the 20% restocking fee plus round-trip freight.
Our Warranty: 3 or 6 Months by Vehicle Year
Every part we sell is covered by a warranty, and the length depends on the model year of your vehicle:
- What it covers: Any unexpected part failure under normal driving conditions. There is no mileage cap.
- Our promise: If a valid warranty issue comes up within the period, we ship you a replacement unit of the same specification at no additional charge, and we cover freight in both directions.
- Please note: The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or accidents. Looking for extra peace of mind? Ask your specialist about extended coverage options.
Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns on:
- Parts that have been installed and are working properly (not defective).
- Return requests made after the 7-day delivery window has passed.
