Transmission Warranty Policies

For transmissions manufactured from 1991 to 2000: 3-month replacement and return warranty.
For transmissions manufactured from 2001 to 2025: 6-month replacement and return warranty.

To preserve the validity of your warranty, strict adherence to the following installation procedures is required:

Component Replacement: Replace key components including a new filter, pan gasket, and front seal.
Torque Converter Seating: Confirm that the torque converter is fully and correctly seated.
Cooler and Line Flush: Flush all transmission coolers and fluid lines before filling with manufacturer-approved fluid.
Error Code Management: Clear all existing transmission error codes and document any new ones after installation.
Vehicle Reprogramming: Complete required ECU/TCU updates or reprogramming.

Proper documentation (receipts, flushing records, reprogramming confirmation) is required for all warranty claims.

Replace Transmission Controller: Install a new controller to ensure proper communication.
Use OEM Fluid Only: Only manufacturer-approved fluid must be used.
Follow OEM Instructions: Complete TCM programming or initialization as required.

Failure to follow CVT-specific procedures may result in warranty denial. Keep all documentation for verification.

Overheating or Lubrication Damage: Not covered under warranty.
Failure to Perform Required Reprogramming: Skipping ECU/TCU updates voids warranty.
Use of Non-OEM Fluid: Incorrect or aftermarket fluids void coverage.
Modification or Alteration: Non-original modifications void warranty.

Shipping Costs: Warranty-approved returns are covered by Fusion Used Engines & Transmission Inc.
Warranty Replacement: Customers must allow at least one replacement attempt before refund consideration. Refusal may result in a 25% restocking fee.
Order Cancellations: After 24 hours, cancellations are subject to a 20% restocking fee. If shipped, round-trip freight applies.
